to Business (B2B) computing scenarios include "buy-side",
"sell-side" and "eMarketplaces".
In all of these scenarios, an important component is to provide an
easy way for suppliers to connect to eMarketplaces and buyers’
e-Procurement systems such as Ariba, Metiom, CommerceOne and others.
This session will review the alternatives for IBM eServer customers with
a special focus on iSeries solutions. The WebSphere platform is important
in each of the Supplier Enablement alternatives discussed in this session,
including WebSphere Application Server (Standard and/or Advanced),
WebSphere Commerce Suite, MQSeries & Domino. This session will review
IBM's new Connect for iSeries Licensed Program.
John Quarantello is the Worldwide iSeries Segment
Manager for e-business. Responsibilities
include marketing support for emerging technologies including B2B, Java,
XML & Websphere. John has
been involved with the AS/400 since its introduction in 1988 and has 26
years with IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College.
