July 2001 Monthly Meeting

July 17, 2001

B2B Computing Scenarios

Business to Business (B2B) computing scenarios include "buy-side",
"sell-side" and "eMarketplaces".  In all of these scenarios, an important component is to provide an easy way for suppliers to connect to eMarketplaces and buyers’ e-Procurement systems such as Ariba, Metiom, CommerceOne and others.

This session will review the alternatives for IBM eServer customers with
a special focus on iSeries solutions. The WebSphere platform is important
in each of the Supplier Enablement alternatives discussed in this session,
including WebSphere Application Server (Standard and/or Advanced),
WebSphere Commerce Suite, MQSeries & Domino.  This session will review
IBM's new Connect for iSeries Licensed Program.
